Aldae is an independent artist and songwriter. He has been writing songs since the fourth grade, developing a natural instinct for melody and storytelling long before he began pursuing music professionally. Originally from Arlington Texas, Aldae was drawn to Los Angeles by his passion for music where he has spent years navigating the songwriting community and sharpening his craft. Along the way, he has written for many artists including Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and BTS, establishing himself as a versatile songwriter capable of moving across genres. Writing for other artists became a learning experience of its own. Aldae sharpened his “lyrical sword,” learned from some of the industry’s greatest songwriters, and discovered more about himself in the process. While building an impressive career behind the scenes, Aldae was simultaneously developing his own artistic voice. "There was a voice in my head telling me these songs shouldn't be sitting on a hard drive," he explained. "Someone out there might get inspiration from hearing them. I realized I shouldn't just hang on to the music—it needed to come out." That realization led to the release of his debut EP, Aldae – Vol. 1 in 2022, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his career as an artist. Since then, Aldae has continued to develop a sound and identity that are distinctly his own. Inspired by cinema, love, loss, and the idea of romanticizing the seemingly ordinary moments of life, his music creates a space where everyday experiences can feel larger, cinematic, and more emotionally significant. At the center of Aldae’s artistry is a desire to give listeners both reflection and escape. He wants his music to make people think about themselves, sit with their own experiences, and step outside of everyday life for a moment. His upcoming EP, enters an entirely different world. “Same heart but different body,” he describes it. While the project continues to carry the emotional core of his songwriting, it pushes into new sonic and creative territory. As he continues to evolve as both a songwriter and artist, Aldae remains committed to creating music that resonates long after the final note.
